Habits and routines were something I thought only applied to working out and eating healthy—but I was so wrong. This book opened my eyes and my heart to the incredible opportunities we have to establish key habits of family discipleship within our already busy lives.

Cherish—what’s that? A sissy word? No. It’s a word of endearment, and it can (and should) be shown to my wife. Oh, how selfish and prideful I’ve been. This book has helped me reframe how I see Tyler, my wife. Every time I pick it up, it challenges me to ask: How can I truly ‘cherish’ her today?

I want to accomplish a lot. I have tons of random ideas that I naturally assume are all good. Are they? No. When I keep them to myself, they stay stuck in my mind—and I get stuck too. Not just stuck in inaction, but stuck holding on to bad ideas for too long, still thinking they’re good. It’s paralyzing. Trying to work on all your ideas alone is dumb, impossible, and expensive. This book has helped me shift my thinking: Who can help me? Who has the experience to advance these ideas and actually get things rolling?
